Privacy Policy

Short version: we use analytics and affiliate links, we don't sell your data, and we don't ask for information we don't need.

Before you publish this: this is a plain-language template written for a small content site. It is not legal advice. If you take significant revenue, or you get traffic from the EU or UK, have a lawyer in your own jurisdiction review it, and keep the cookie banner your analytics provider requires.

Who we are

CrewStack publishes independent software research for trade contractors. You can reach us at our contact page.

What we collect

We do not ask for payment details. We do not sell or rent personal data. We do not build profiles of individual readers.

Cookies and affiliate links

Our pages contain affiliate links. When you click one, the vendor or its affiliate network may set a cookie so that a later purchase is attributed to us. That cookie is set by them, under their policy, usually for 30 days. If you prefer not to be tracked, use your browser's cookie controls or a private window.

Analytics cookies tell us which articles people read. They are not used to identify you.

Third parties we use

Each of these has its own privacy policy, and each may process data outside your country. Replace this list with the actual providers you use before launch — a privacy policy that names no processors is not worth much.

Your choices

Children

This site is aimed at business owners and is not directed at anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will change the date at the top of the page. We don't version silently.

We buy trials, screenshot vendor pricing pages and re-check them on the 1st of every month. Vendors never see an article before publication. How we test →
